GOMEL, 12 March (BelTA) – The Belorusneft production association is set to start producing gas in Venezuela in 2010, BelTA learnt from Belorusneft press service.
The project is carried out in pursuance of the agreements reached at the state level. They envisage further expansion of cooperation between Belorusneft and Venezuela’s PDVSA state-owned oil company. A range of active deposits has been identified for joint geophysical and industrial research.  |

| MINSK, 12 March (BelTA) - A Belarus President ordinance has been passed to alienate shares of three joint-stock companies via tender and auction, representatives of the State Property Committee told BelTA.
The shares of Prodmash (Minsk) will be sold via tender, shares of Zhlobin Quarry of Molding Materials (Zhlobin) and Printing House of the Belarusian State Agricultural Academy (Gorki) – via auction. |

| GOMEL, 11 March (BelTA) – BelTA’s photo exhibition “The Winners” opened in the Gavriil Vashchenko Gallery of Gomel on 11 March, BelTA has learnt.
The exposition features more than 70 large-format pictures timed to the 65th anniversary of Great Victory. In the photo you can see participants of the Great Patriotic War.
Grigory Denisenko, the Hero of the Soviet Union, Honorary Citizen of Gomel and the Gomel Oblast, took part in the opening ceremony of the BelTA photo exhibition. |

| GOMEL, 24 February (BelTA) – The Gomel Oblast of Belarus and the Vysocina Region of the Czech Republic will develop partnership relations between their towns. The agreement on this was reached during a meeting of Deputy Chairman of the Gomel Oblast Executive Committee Boleslav Pirshtuk and Honorary Consul of Belarus to the Czech Republic Irzi Krzivan, BelTA has learnt.
The town of Trebic may become the first Czech town which will establish the partnership relations. |
